Creation of a new slideshow:
In this example, all photos , videos and also the background music are directly in a folder. This is the easiest and fastest way to create a slideshow.
If, on the other hand, the folder is empty or all files are in subfolders, only an empty slideshow will be created at first. You can then add the files later in the storyboard!
PLAY
DSS-4K provides excellent interactivity when playing a slideshow. There is no hard break during pauses, as the background music continues to play at a reduced volume.
If needed, you can navigate very quickly to any location in the slideshow.
In case of photos/videos with geo-information, use Google Maps to get to the recording location!
The video also shows scrolling through videos in pauses as well as the 'zoom' mode.
OPEN
With 'OPEN', saved slideshows can be called up again at any time.
If the slideshow folder is not in one of the libraries 'Pictures' or 'Videos', you may have to access the folder again.
The video also shows how you can avoid this - just add with a right click the folder, a parent collection folder or the complete drive to one of the named libraries!
SAVE
Slideshows are saved as special text files with the file extension '.sld'. These contain only the sequence of the files with all necessary parameters.
Since only very little storage space is required for this, several variants can also be stored without any problems.
For the slideshow folder to be easily copied to other disks, the slideshows must be saved directly to the main slideshow folder.
PREFERENCES
Preferences for displaying Photos and Videos:
In the PREFERENCES can be even immediately before playback still display duration, volume reduction of background music for videos and pauses, playback mode (automatic / manual), continuous loop mode, ... change. STYLES allow you to instantly give the slideshow a new look.
EXPORT
Export of a finished slideshow:
Exported slideshows contains only the files that are really used.
Cropped videos can be shortened to the new length. In addition, ascending or descending renumbering is possible.
Cuted videos can be shortened to the new length as well as reduced in bitrate.

Here you will first be shown how to open files in the storyboard in the preview and full screen view.
Then you will be shown how to MARK, MOVE and DELETE files.
Attention: Auto-Save every 5 minutes is no longer included, please use manually 'F9'!

AUTO-BORDER
Graphics for the border of images must normally correspond as closely as possible to their format and be symmetrical horizontally and vertically.
But via the resource page of DSS-4K you can also use special autoframes, where the photo is automatically positioned on the free image section..

MIRROR
In DSS-4K you can flip any photo horizontally with the 'M' key.
The special transition 'mirror' shows both variants side by side.
